About Kapiti Art Therapy
Corinne Allan established Kapiti Art Therapy as a wonderful alternative to helping people.
Every person will unconsciously mix or choose colours to their personal preference. Through using simple painting techniques you will notice over a period of time a significant change with the use of colour that will help improve any trauma, shocks, unhappiness etc. As this is a non verbal technique it is ideal for everyone to connect with their emotions in a safe way. As aspergers, dispraxia, dislexia, discaculia, ADD, autism, are an imbalance of the left brain and Art therapy will stimulate the right side of the brain which over time balance symptoms out.
Areas of special interest include:
Emotional stress, Asperger's, ADD - Dyslexia, Dyscaculia and Dyspraxia, Motor skill difficulties, Balance difficulties, Anxieties, Self esteem, Trauma, Separation, Grief, Spiritual mindset, positive thought process.
